Perhaps I have just always had a skewed view of exactly what a blog is supposed to be. The few blogs that I do read and enjoy are more like a information exchange, or like group therapy. Craig's blog however, is his thoughts and comments of his road trip/vacation.

What have I done?
Inspired by my brother-in-law, Craig Riecke, I have decided to join the blog phenom on the net. I know blogging has been going on for a few years and have read quite a few. This has always seemed to be like a younger person's deal to do. I don't know...it always seemed a bit egotistical to me. Why would anyone want to read my personal journal? And how personal are these blogs really? Don't we self edit ourselves if we know that others are going to be reading these?

I don't know what I plan this to be. That's why I titled it randomness, because it will probably be a lot of things. Mostly just me. And my kids. My hubby too! So I guess it'll be about my life (duh!). I read in one of my scrap booking magazines that some of the journaling that a scrapper or two have used is from their blog. Their recording of those day to day events that make up our lives. Those things that we forget about in a week, an month, years. So I guess that in all the chaos of life, I want to remember things. And if others care to read, then that is their option.
